What you need so that you can register

In order to protect your identity, Equifax will ask you some carefully selected questions about your finances. It's useful if you have to hand information about your loans, credit cards, mortgages and mobile phone bills, etc. That way you can answer these questions quickly and accurately.

As part of the registration process you'll need to enter your Capital One card information in the Payment Details section. Your card won't be charged as this is a FREE service. Your Capital One card details will be used and retained by Equifax to confirm your address and verify you as a Capital One cardholder. Equifax will also store this information, in case you would like to buy additional reports after you have used your FREE Equifax Credit Reports™.

* The year will run from the date you register for this service. Equifax Credit Reports™ can be viewed securely online, are printable and come with easy to understand notes. This service may be withdrawn or amended at any time. You'll be informed of any changes.

Email alerts are a key part of the service. You will not be able to opt out of email alerts without cancelling your registration. Calls may be recorded/monitored for training purposes.
