KIRK DOBIE JOINS EQUIFAX

Experienced professional to lead Equifax Direct Marketing Services Division

London, April 5, 2004 – Equifax Ltd has appointed Kirk Dobie as Head of Marketing Services bringing valuable expertise and a wealth of knowledge to strengthen its growing Direct Marketing Services Division. Dobie moves from Experian and will be the driving force behind Equifax’s direct marketing expansion.

Michael Shannon, Group Executive of Equifax Europe comments, “Kirk will be an invaluable asset to the ongoing development of our Marketing Services Division. He brings with him a wealth of experience which together with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm, will direct and support our sales team as they continue to develop new and existing markets as well as promoting Equifax’s range of innovative direct marketing products.”

Dobie began his successful sales and marketing career with AC Nielsen before moving to Experian in 1989. He performed a number of sales and marketing roles in the Micromarketing Division at Experian, before becoming a director in 1995 and finally being promoted to sales and marketing director in 2000.

Commenting on his new role, Dobie says, "I left Experian to join Equifax because I saw a great opportunity to expand and develop Equifax’s position within the direct marketing services arena. Equifax has been very successful in turning its wealth of data assets into credit-based intelligence for companies and consumers alike. Now it is time for the marketing services marketplace to utilise these assets to develop even greater insight into their marketing campaigns”.

Shannon concludes, “This appointment is a reflection of our commitment to the marketing services sector. Kirk’s experience will play a key role in leading our strategies for 2004 and beyond, putting Equifax in a market leading position.”
