SANDRA LAWRENCE HEADS UP EQUIFAX UK

Financial services experience pays off for Sandra Lawrence who begins 2007 as General Manager of Equifax Plc

London 5th March 2007 – Financial services professional, Sandra Lawrence begins 2007 as the new General Manager of Equifax Plc, the leading credit and business information solutions provider. Her appointment, a key promotion from the role of Country Manager that she took up only eighteen months ago, was announced by former Managing Director, Michael Shannon, who has returned to Equifax headquarters in Atlanta, US to take up a new role.

In her new role Sandra Lawrence will be reporting directly to recently appointed Equifax Inc International Group Executive, Rudy Ploder, who has responsibility for Canada and Latin America as well as Europe.

This significant advance for Sandra Lawrence reflects not only her extensive experience in sales, marketing, risk management and strategic relationship management but also more recently her initiatives to provide innovative services and solutions for the financial services sector and other business markets in the UK, including marketing, telecommunications and utilities. These have anticipated and responded to new but clearly identified market needs and include Equifax's new fraud management detection and prevention service – SIRAN.

Taking over day to day management of all areas of UK operations Sandra Lawrence welcomes the new challenges but, in particular, the opportunity to work with the Equifax teams where she has built strong relationships over the past eighteen months. Her experience across the broad spectrum of financial services brands, encompassing the areas of consumer and business information and marketing services as well as government and ID solutions, has prepared her well for the fresh demands in her new role.

"The UK marketplace faces considerable challenges", confirmed Sandra Lawrence. "In my new role I am looking forward to sustaining Equifax's reputation for developing innovative solutions that help companies achieve more profitable customer acquisition and retention, as well as address the ever-present challenges of bad debt and fraud."
