MYTOUCHSTONE SET TO DEMONSTRATE NEW LOOK REPORTS FOR IFAS AT THE FUND5LIVE ROAD SHOWS
The UK’s number one IFA database presents its expertise across the country
MyTouchstone, the market leading IFA database which is operated by the wealth and investment intelligence services division of Equifax, will be showcasing its offering and benefits to IFAs at this year’s highly informative fund5live roadshows hosted by Professional Adviser. At each of the regional roadshows, MyTouchstone will demonstrate local market knowledge, illustrating the strength of the database in providing IFAs with valuable intelligence to improve their penetration and profitability.
“The fund5live roadshows are a great opportunity for us to help IFAs understand the real power of the MyTouchstone database”, confirmed Geoff Greensmith, Strategic Development Director at Equifax responsible for MyTouchstone. “We think IFAs visiting the roadshows will be particularly impressed by the insight MyTouchstone can give them into their local market and competition. We also want to reiterate the importance of IFAs keeping their data up to date so that the information on the system is highly reflective of current market activity.
“MyTouchstone is the first truly collaborative marketing database ever constructed by the IFA sector. Powered by the collective sales data of 77 major product providers, it gives IFAs an unprecedented insight into their marketplace. This data is further enhanced with inputs from over 10,000 users, creating an information source that will transform the way IFAs promote and run their business.” MyTouchstone will provide IFAs with the following insights at the fund5live roadshows:
- Ranking and market share for local companies
- Investor Hot Spots – enabling IFAs to find out how many clients are active and interested in their services in their area
- Adviser Charging Guide – giving IFAs insight into how their fees compare with their peers in their region
- New Business Trends – showing how business is changing from one quarter to the next in each region the road-shows visit
- Support Services to IFAs – identifying the key networks in each region
The findings from the MyTouchstone RDR Survey will also be featured at each fund5live roadshow, illustrating how IFAs and consumers are changing in each region in response to the Retail Distribution Review. And existing users of the MyTouchstone database will be given the opportunity to update their current details and view new reports and content, including the new ‘Fund Focus’ page on the MyTouchstone website, developed in collaboration with FE Analytics. This allows IFAs to gain a unique insight into the latest fund selection and performance trends.
MyTouchstone will also be offering IFAs their last chance to enter the free prize draw to win a 1 year licence with FE Analytics, the award-winning online fund research and monitoring tool, plus an iPad with the MyTouchstone download package already installed.
The fund5live road shows are taking place from 21st to 29th February in Newcastle, Manchester, Cambridge, London, Birmingham and Bristol. Speakers at the events include Nick Cann, Chief Executive Institute of Financial Planning and Simon Wood, Investment Director Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. “We are really looking forward to being involved in the fund5live road shows”, continued Geoff Greensmith. “They will provide us with the opportunity to show IFAs from all regions just how much of an advantage the MyTouchstone database can give them.”
