ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance)

Building our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact for the future

At Equifax, we’ve been helping people live their financial best for over 100 years. This purpose extends beyond just our commercial commitments and is fully weaved into our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy which sits across the whole of our business – not just people, but our products and customer experience too.

Social value is increasingly important to our entire ecosystem and we’ve centered our ESG strategy around the key pillars of environment, consumer impact, suppliers, community engagement, privacy, security, corporate governance, culture and careers.

Our focus is anchored in helping customers live their financial best and empowering future generations with essential skills to make the most of their money. Every day, we use the power of data to help people and companies navigate cost of living pressures, protect financially vulnerable customers and build a clearer picture of affordability.

2023 was pivotal to cementing our UK ESG strategy, progressing against our goals, forming key partnerships and beginning our journey - and there is so much more still to come!
