Equifax Limited has become the first of the three main UK based credit reference agencies to be named on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS), Open Banking Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework for Open Banking services.

This development allows Equifax to bid to provide Account Information Services (AIS) to any UK public sector body that uses the DPS. These include central government departments and wider public sector bodies, such as, local authorities, NHS, police, education providers, devolved administrations and charities, to access Equifax’s Open Banking solutions.

We can help buyers harmonise the data Equifax already holds about your customers with their bank transaction data to build a more complete picture and to deliver valuable insights for a variety of use cases. With the inclusion in the DPS framework, public sector buyers can tap into Equifax’s services which include, identity verification and fraud services , income verification,, credit risk and affordability assessments.

This announcement marks a significant milestone for Equifax, which already has strong ties to Central Government, Local Government and Law enforcement agencies.
