Equifax raises €8,000 for Wexford Mental Health Association
Equifax, the consumer and business insights expert, is pleased to announce that over the past 12 months its teams at the IDA Business and Technology Park in Drinagh, Wexford have successfully raised €8,000 for its charity of the year, Wexford Mental Health Association.
The charity committee; made up Cathy Roche, Denise Grogan, Lynn Flood, Jodi Somers, Jenny Carlyle, Jacqui Shapiro, Claire Callan, Tracy Brennan, Michael Howlin & Mag Lynch hosted numerous fundraising events throughout the year; including bake sales, quizzes, a snooker marathon, a Halloween party and a summer BBQ to name just a few activities.
Cathy Roche, Chairperson of the Charity Committee at Equifax, said: “The Wexford Mental Health Association is a charity that is close to the hearts of many Equifax colleagues, as a number of their families have received support from the organisation, so being able to do our bit to support them is something we’re all delighted to be part of.
“We never cease to be amazed by the generosity of the people of Wexford, without whom we would not have been able to raise as much money as we did.
“Many thanks to all of the local businesses who donated prizes for our fundraising events throughout the year and especially to Equifax colleagues for all of their support in helping to achieve such an amazing total, for an incredibly deserving charity.”
