Equifax appoints Non-Executive President Europe and Corporate Business Development

Honorio Ruiz, former General Secretary at Asnef, joins Equifax in January 2019

MADRID – Equifax has today announced that it has named Honorio Ruiz to serve as Non-Executive President for Europe and Corporate Business Development, commencing January 2019. Honorio, who previously served as Secretary General of ASNEF, will be responsible for contributing to the development of Equifax's European strategy. Honorio will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainable and profitable growth of the organisation.

 

Graduating in Law from Autónoma University in Madrid, Honorio holds a Diploma in Legal Counselling for Companies, School of Legal Practice from Complutense University in Madrid, and an Executive MBA from the Institute for Executive Development – IEDE (European University in Madrid).

Honorio’s previous roles include Secretary General at ASNEF and Secretary General of the Spanish Factoring Association. He also serves as a Member of the Board of organisations including; ASNEF-LOGALTY (Spain), ASFAC-LOGALTY (Portugal), ASNEF-CBP, Soluciones Confima, EU Federation Factoring and Commercial Finance and Eurofinas (European Federation of Finance House Associations) where he is also currently acting Vice President. Formerly he has also been Secretary of the Board of Equifax Ibérica, Equifax Plus and Asnef Equifax.
